Course Objectives

The course aims to give practicing and potential managers and supervisors a foundation for their formal development. It seeks to build essential knowledge and skills required for effective performance in the supervisory role. The course also provides an opportunity for participants to develop a range of techniques, personal qualities and attitudes essential for successful supervision and performance management.

Learning outcomes:

At the end of the course, participants will be able to:

• Identify areas of improvement in their leadership and management styles in order to become more effective in their supervisory role.
• Demonstrate self-awareness, self-management and team work as they execute their roles and responsibilities
• Understand the performance management cycle and to effectively perform their role and responsibilities during the performance management process
• Develop skills of preventing, identifying and addressing conflicts at their workplaces.
