Course Objectives
The overall course objective is to enhance the capacity of participants in attracting and retaining long term donor support through effective fundraising and management of donor relations. The specific objective of this training is to enable course participants to appreciate the contemporary donor Environment, Develop fundraising strategy, write and design competitive funding proposals and effectively manage donor relations and grant contracts.

- The Fundraising Cycle, Fundraising Approaches and Methods
- Developing Programmer Lead Funding Strategy
- Elements of Project Design
- Log frame Development, Costing Interventions and Budgeting
- Managing Donor Relations - Attracting and Retaining Donors Learning Outcomes
Participants who attend this course will be able;
- To undertake funding intelligence, donor scoping and match funds to organization needs
- To design and use various fundraising approaches and methods in fundraising, types of funds and funding frameworks
- To develop organizational fundraising strategy, competitive funding proposal, use log frame and other proposal writing, costing and budgeting tools
- To successfully maintain healthy donor relations
